Unless you live in a cave, it is impossible not to notice the condition of our beautiful planet. We all have a role to play, especially when digital technology accounts for around 4% of global CO2 emissions.
At Smotly, we are determined to do our part for a more sustainable web. We do everything we can to minimize our environmental impact by adopting eco-design practices and using every lever available to us.

We use Infomaniak’s Green ecological server, powered 100% by renewable energy and hosted in Europe (Switzerland). This solution allows us to minimize our environmental impact while still delivering high-performance service.
We keep up to date with digital eco-design best practices through active monitoring and participation in events organized by the Green IT association.
For every project, we aim for an A on the EcoIndex scale. What is EcoIndex? It is the main indicator used to assess the environmental impact of websites based on several criteria, including weight, complexity and number of resources.
Every mockup we co-create in Figma is designed to optimize the eco-design of websites. By combining your needs with eco-design best practices, we make the trade-offs needed to define light and efficient interfaces.
